time we have 3 separate fields that range in size from 75 acres to 200

Question: How many sporting clay stations do you have?

have 10 stations to shoot.
Question: What
kind of cover and terrain do you have?
Answer: We have, what
we term as, slightly rolling terrain, with a few trees and wooded draws. We use warm season grasses and food plots to
provide a natural wildlife cover. We
want to have an area that if you were driving down the road looking for a place
to hunt, you would stop and ask permission to hunt it.
Question: If we
find additional birds in our hunting areas can we harvest them?
Answer: We
emphasize, we are not selling you birds, we are selling you a hunt with lots of
action. With the purchase of a Package
Hunt, all birds in your hunting area are fair game, at no additional cost.
Question: What
is your hunting season on released birds?
Answer: We try to
have a few birds (usually quail) around the middle of September for the person
looking to get dogs warmed up for the upcoming season, the other birds by the
first of October. We then keep birds
until the first of April.
Question: I have
heard that the birds do not fly well, and that it is like catching fish from a
barrel. Do you have to pick the birds
up and throw them?
Answer: It is
our goal to make your hunting experience as natural as possible. The only difference is you set your own
seasons and bag limits - and you know that the birds are there. Hunting
at a well managed hunting preserve can be far more "sporty" than so
called "open hunting" on most farm lands. This is because the
"cover" and wildlife habitat are so much better developed. It's a
sorry fact that there is now more wildlife habitat and "escape cover"
on a good hunting preserve than there is on a most farms - after the crops are
harvested.
Question: How
many people do you allow in a hunting party?
Answer: We limit
it to no more than 5 in your group.
Safety is our number 1 concern so we ask you to not hunt with people you
feel will not be safe.
